Celebrating a decade of EVO-lution with EF PRO CYCLING
2025 marks a decade of close collaboration between Cannondale and EF Pro Cycling Team. A relationship that has led to the development of ever-better equipment to help riders achieve their very best, as well as 2024 providing the best-ever season in the team’s colorful history.
This year also sees the launch of a very special bike – the 2025 LAB71 SuperSix EVO Team Edition - to mark this anniversary while helping the riders of EF Pro Cycling go on to write the next chapters and installments in their story.
Cheers to 10 Years | Cannondale x EF Pro Cycling
10 Years in the Making
So much can happen in a single season, let alone ten of them. From the evolution of technology, regulations and equipment to the riders and teams themselves.
Where one moment 23mm tires, external cables and rim brakes are the norm, suddenly riders are throwing their legs over bikes with wireless shifting, disc brakes and clearance for bigger and bigger rubber.
From the 2nd-gen rim-brake-equipped SuperSix EVO, to the latest and greatest wind-tunnel sculpted disc brake versions of the EVO, Cannondale bikes have continuously evolved to meet the requirements of elite racing, as well as the demands of the riders that push them to the limit day in and day out.
Cheers to 10 Years
Today, the latest, greatest iteration of this continued pursuit for excellence comes in the form of the 2025 LAB71 SuperSix EVO Team Edition. Designed, developed and torture-tested alongside pro riders and mechanics alike, it reflects our relentless drive for improvement, as well as the partnership forged with the EF Pro Cycling teams over the past decade.
The ultimate evolution of the modern race machine, this is a climbing bike for the sprints and an aero bike for the mountains. The lightest of the fast. The fastest of the light. It doesn’t look at all bad either.
As you might imagine, the LAB71 SuperSix EVO isn’t all about tech advancements and incremental improvements though. After all, an EF Pro Cycling bike wouldn’t be fit for riding if it didn’t also look a million bucks, right?
So, naturally, the fit and finish on this new frame is second to none. With nods to where the team has been over the past decade, as well as where it is today, the “10” easter egg on the downtube contains all the colors that the team has proudly adopted through the years.
The Future's Bright
From the most colorful kits in the peloton, to equally colorful endeavors on the road, EF Pro Cycling is a team that’s made a unique name for itself, carving out a beloved place on the world stage.
2024 was another perfect example of this. Whether it was Kristin Faulkner putting the hammer down to secure Olympic gold in front of the world in Paris, Richard Carapaz flying up climb after climb to claim his KOM title at the Tour, or Lachlan Morton on his record-breaking rides at Unbound Gravel and around Australia. Each achievement and story was as epic as the last. And all in one epic year. (And yes, all onboard a Cannondale bike to help make these dreams a reality.)
Wherever, Next
But how do both EF Pro Cycling teams follow up on a year as magical and as rewarding as 2024 was? By picking up where they left off and shooting even higher of course.
And it’s this same unwavering pursuit of excellence that’s reflected in the way that our team at Cannondale approaches their own 9-5 jobs. With complete focus and a passion for pushing beyond where they’ve already been. By learning from where they’ve been while looking to the future to make marginal yet vital improvements.
Each new season brings a new set of challenges and opportunities in pro cycling. And we can’t wait to be a part of the new stories that are waiting to be written next with the ladies and gents at EF Pro Cycling.
