A city rediscovered by bike
How an electric bike gave photographer Keng Pereira the freedom to discover a new perspective of his hometown.
Sometimes adverse and unprecedented situations can throw up surprising opportunities. With new beginnings, fresh perspectives reveal that even the largest and darkest clouds can come with a silver lining. It seems that right now, more people than ever are discovering that silver lining by bike.
Lifestyle photographer Keng Pereira doesn’t sit still. With an ever-ready camera, Keng documents the people and places he encounters with a curious appreciation, finding a chance to reconnect with his native Amsterdam.
“With everything that has changed right now, I feel like I’ve gained a new perspective on the city I grew up in. I have rediscovered these places as they were intended to be.” As he took to the empty streets with his electric Treadwell Neo, Keng found his curiosity rejuvenated. From his latest explorations, Keng compiled his favorite images into a gallery to share how a bicycle gave him a chance to reconnect with his home. Enjoy his photography here.
A day spent out on the bike, shooting and exploring, is simply the best feeling out there. Easily speeding around town to get the shots.
Everyday scenes have been getting a new perspective.

Riding a bicycle makes it so easy to discover places that always seemed out of reach. Using a bike to commute around town has been so effortless and so much fun.
It’s never been so smooth going from A to B!
